We are developing the Church Cellar Program as a way to donate items to the church for sale or auction on eBay and Craigslist. Each donation is tax deductible!

All you have to do is call the Church office and leave a message for the Church Mouse that you've got something to donate. New member Ned Gardner has kindly offered his services as our first Church Mouse! Ned will come over to your place and photograph the item you wish to donate and help you fill out the donation form. Then he'll take the form back to the Church Spider, who will put it up for sale on the world wide web.

For Sale on the Web.

The Church Spider (Dave Coulston) will place the item for sale on the Internet via eBay or Craigslist, under our user name: ChurchCellar@first presbuchanan.org. Your name will not appear on the Internet.

When the item is up for sale, the Church Spider will monitor the sales process and field questions from potential buyers. When the item is sold, the sale will be processed by the Church Cellar account and the money deposited directly to the Church.

Shipping.

Certain items for sale will only be offered on Craigslist with the terms that they will be picked up by the buyer. Items offered on eBay will have to be shipped. We encourage the person making the donation to handle the shipping, which isn't difficult. A quick trip to the UPS Store in Niles will take care of it. But the Church Cellar team will also offer help. All you have to do is ask!

Lets Make It Work!

This is a new program. We've tried to think of everything, but there are bound to be little bumps on the road as we get the program up and running. The Church Cellar team will appreciate your help and understanding as we all work toward providing the church with a little extra income.!

Shovel out that basement and empty the second stall in your garage!

And donate whatever you don't need to the Church Cellar Program!
